About this artwork
I made "Bad ass" from a linocut that I placed in an old round and curved frame. I assembled recycled elements, toys, beads, paper flowers to make a pop relic, a collision of genres and cultures, a comical ode to virility.
Aurore LANTERI, painter and sculptor, shapes her works in beeswax painting and watercolor, combined with modeling and assembly. She mixes expressionism, kitsch and art brut, giving life to a colorful and bold aesthetic. His paintings and sculptures depict the tumult of human existence, revealing our wild connections with the animal world. His art is a vibrant cry, seeking to capture the essence of life in its chaotic splendor and wild diversity.
