About this artwork
A work that is dear to me because it evokes distant dreamlike lands.
The inks and gouache, when mixed together, create an alchemy that is always unique on paper :)
Mixed technique: acrylic inks, gouache and Indian ink applied with an ink roller on Canson 1557 paper, 180gr, fine grain (slightly visible) extra-white.

Aurore Poncet, a graduate in Visual Arts, draws inspiration from the art of Chinese calligraphy. She uses two distinct techniques, sometimes painting with Chinese ink on rice paper, and sometimes applying ink to a scroll to create landscapes that evoke Asia. Her goal is to bring the shapes she produces to life, and she succeeds with poetry; her vibrant works express her wonder at the richness of nature.
