About this artwork
First, I mixed several layers of gesso and marble powder, painted them on, and sanded them to make the surface as smooth as possible, then painted the entire piece with several coats of white acrylic, then painted the colored areas with acrylic, and then used oil paints. The piece is made up of two canvases.
