About this artwork
I found chestnut bread at a German bread shop and bought it. Kinako was topped and I wanted to express it.
I put it on pink marble and put olive oil in a white bowl. It's a picture of the kitchen, but it's a rare work for me.

« The paintbrushes that have been passed down from generation to generation eventually became swords to overcome hardships in my life. »
Ayako Tsuge is an artist based in Japan whose paintings have been featued in solo exhibitions nationally. Through her elegant florals and still-lifes, she conveys the perfection found in nature. "Flowers bloom in spring, bear fruit in autumn and save lives", is the central message Tsuge reflects in her works. She creates solely with watercolors in a Japanese style.
