About this artwork
One of the most admirable of Gothic arts is most certainly the Stain Glass. A pinnacle of story-telling and an incredible virtuosity in working with light and colour. I build this composition as reminiscent of that principle. populated by brush strokes that vary in shape, intensity, and pressure.
I too have a story to tell. This is an expression of the intimate connection between my faith and my art. On the backdrop of the intense Van Gogh-like… blue starry sky, only the naked tree branches suggest a winter scene.
