About this artwork
This work was created in the ninth month of my pregnancy and is closely linked to a time of growth, change, and the emergence of new life. Floral and organic forms become symbols of fertility, creation, and abundance.
The lush blossoms, vibrant colors, and freely applied brushstrokes convey an almost exuberant vitality. Individual elements dissolve between the representational forms, developing their own dynamic – like something that grows, spreads,… and constantly generates new shapes.
Thus, the painting should be understood less as a classic flower painting, but rather as an expression of life, growth and creative power.
