About this artwork

Two crows were coming out from the fire and making smoky circles above us.

Başak Ertekin, an artist versed in painting, photography, and printmaking, delves into the essence of her experiences. Harnessing acrylics with occasional oil or pastel, her work blurs the line between surreal and neo-expressionist, forming semi-abstract realms. Her art embodies an ethereal journey, channeling raw feelings into visible spectacles that stir deep, introspective emotions.
