About this artwork
Plastic Beach is the manifesto of my inner revolution.
In this work, I let myself break from the patterns I once moved through without question. The tangled forms, layered textures, and abrupt colors reflect the internal process of unmaking and remaking—of confronting the versions of myself I’ve inherited, shaped, or outgrown.
This piece is a space where I look inward and ask: Who am I now? Where I come from? And where is my next?
Plastic Beach embraces… the uncertainty of transformation. It holds the knots, the mess, the contradictions—allowing them to coexist as part of my evolving identity. It marks the moment I stopped resisting the shift and began trusting the turbulence as a path forward.
