About this artwork
In Unbalanced, I work in the space where control begins to loosen and intuition takes over. I build the surface through layers of acrylic and sand, then interrupt it with pen marks that register hesitation, correction, and sudden shifts in direction. The painting evolves through tension—between order and disruption, structure and impulse. The composition resists symmetry and resolution. Colors collide, textures accumulate and erode, and drawn lines…
trace a process of continuous adjustment rather than a final answer. Instead of searching for harmony, I embrace imbalance as an active condition—one that allows movement, vulnerability, and transformation.
