About this artwork
Where did our ease and enthusiasm from childhood go?
The rain that gave us so much joy is usually only accepted with criticism today.
The astronaut Alexander Gerst, who did research on the space station of the ISS for 6 months, was asked what he missed the most. It was the rain and the humidity that came with it.
With this statement, the astronaut motivated me to put his core message into practice.
Our plant is such a marvel, paired with so… much beauty, that it is always worth exploring and rediscovering.
I refined my picture with a high-gloss resin finish. The summer rain is almost noticeable.
