Study in Quiet Green I
Acrylic, Pencil on Cardboard

In my painting, I am interested in states of proximity and distance, presence and withdrawal. I understand figures, still lifes, and architectural motifs less as narrative devices and more as vehicles of inner tension. Color, surface, and structure are equally important means of opening up psychological spaces without defining them. My work moves between representationalism and dissolution, between observation and memory. The visible remains reduced, while the unspoken plays a central role. I work primarily with acrylics, drawing, and layering to create a calm, dense atmosphere that allows room for individual interpretation. I live and work in Hamburg.
