« I paint the way one researches. I go to meet characters, I catch their contours, and keep the precious flaws that give them that little extra soul. »
Barbara Morin is a French artist whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, in Switzerland and Denmark. Her art is intertwined with themes relating to childhood, love, characters, emotions, nature, and humanity, as well as our fragility, poetry, and dreamlike universes. Morin describes her artistic process as the act of finding within herself the "spontaneity and the lively emotions of a child." Between art but, singular art, and expression, her vibrant compositions are in the realm of "contemporary primitivism".
