About this artwork
Impressed and very inspired by a huge exhibition of sculptures by an artist friend Liu Yonggang in Beijing, I created this canvas, which I call Chinese ET, because its sculptures could be living Chinese characters or signs! It made me think a lot about the film ET. Very human, tender and nevertheless extraterrestrial.
