About this artwork
Following the confinement and the need to stay at home, I observed my own garden as a new country, where I am the visitor. I have lived here for 8 years and in front of my workshop there are two magnificent lime trees. Last fall (in 2021) the lime tree on the right lost half of its leaves, winter is coming and the other half of the leaves were in autumnal colors with a blue sky as you only find them in autumn, just beautiful , the meeting between…
autumn and winter on the tree. So the urge to paint it like this was inevitable.
