ECHO was created using mixed media on high-quality, high-tech artist paper. The application of fine pearls created a partially sand-like texture. The style is consistent with Abstract Expressionism. The work was mounted on a light-colored mat (60cm x 80cm). The image section measures 50cm x 70cm. The image can be framed upon request.

Barbara Schauß is an established German painter whose works have been exhibited in regional and national exhibitions. Her love for art began as a child when she discovered her father's books of world famous paintings. Inspired by the Impressionist movement, Schauß was greatly moved to paint after seeing Monet's "Fields in Spring" and famous lily pads. She also experiments in abstract painting, working in both oils and acrylics. Schauß is compelled by colors and aims to represent an overall atmosphere, whether harmonious or discordant, through her work.
