About this artwork
LAGUNA was created in many layers using acrylic technology and shows a strong structure and feel. The semi-abstract painting is reminiscent of a water landscape, with shades of turquoise and orange, of a holiday landscape, a lagoon that reflects the colors of the Venetian lagoon. The work conveys a relaxed atmosphere.
The picture is not framed and can be hung immediately. On request, the side edges can be designed in white. The signature is on the… bottom right, the artist deliberately incorporated it into the structure. The work is also signed on the back.

Barbara Schauß is an established German painter whose works have been exhibited in regional and national exhibitions. Her love for art began as a child when she discovered her father's books of world famous paintings. Inspired by the Impressionist movement, Schauß was greatly moved to paint after seeing Monet's "Fields in Spring" and famous lily pads. She also experiments in abstract painting, working in both oils and acrylics. Schauß is compelled by colors and aims to represent an overall atmosphere, whether harmonious or discordant, through her work.
