About this artwork
The photo of two students at the High School of Fashion Industries in Manhattan inspired this photo. The NYT's images of style for 2023. It is the only trade-based institution public school in New York City dedicated to fashion. They held their spring runway show in May, an annual tradition since the 1940's. They were so much fun to paint!
