Barbara Vogel, a freelance artist, uses mainly acrylic paints, charcoal, oil pastels, ink and colored pencils in her abstract paintings and collages. Using unusual tools such as branches, spoons and sponges, she replaces control with feeling and also intuitively integrates lettering. Her works are the visual expression of life with all its beauty, excitement and sadness, always offering a positive, emotional journey of discovery. Her art reveals little secrets and the freedom she feels when painting.
