“Observer” arose from the desire to make the act of observation itself visible – not as passive perception, but as a vibrant, multifaceted process. The semi-abstract formal language allows for the translation of eye movements, inner reactions, and mental connections into color and structure.
The artwork is painted on cardboard (a sturdy, very stiff and hard cardboard laminated on the front with medium-grain canvas fabric (330 g/m²)). The canvas… is folded over at the edges and backed with white paper.
