Discover the creation in interiors
In this print, I've intertwined the essence of gravure with symbolic elements, capturing the complexity of human thought. The bold lines and contrasts evoke introspection, mirroring the depths of our psyche. This piece is a tangible dance of shadows, and I crafted it to inspire viewers to embrace their multifaceted nature. It will bring a thought-provoking energy into any space, inviting contemplation and conversation.

Barry Wolfryd
Mexico
« As an artist, I want to “awaken minds” to fleeting governing laws by playing pictorial detective, challenging the social norms of world cultures, bringing attention to the complexities of humanity. »
Barry Wolfryd is a painter, printmaker and sculptor who resides in Mexico. His works have been exhibited nationally as well as in Italy, Spain, Denmark, Germany, Japan and Ecuador. His compositions blend the surreal and include elements of pop art and expressionism, featuring imagery from popular culture as a vehicle for critique. Wolfryd’s objective is to convey an ‘absurd narrative’. When painting he uses oil, paper and mixed media, while his sculptures are fabricated with ceramics, glass, art objects and graphics.
