My current body of work explores the tension between control and chance through abstract compositions built on wood panel. I use acrylic paint, glue, and a range of non-traditional materials, applying and removing them with both conventional tools and industrial implements—drills, sanders, grinders—anything that allows me to physically engage with the surface. This process yields a layered aesthetic, where each stratum reveals traces of decision,… revision, and raw energy. The viewer is invited not just to see the finished piece, but to sense the labor and emotion embedded within it.
This work emerged from personal reflections on agency and surrender. I often ask: How much control do we really have? We make choices, set things in motion, but inevitably, outcomes slip beyond our grasp. I’m fascinated by this dynamic—the compulsion to impose order versus the necessity of letting go.

His works embody the tension between control and spontaneity, inviting viewers to feel a profound sense of wonder and awe at the unpredictable beauty that emerges through his artistic process.
