Discover the creation in interiors
In this portrait of Charles, I blended acrylic and collage to capture the fragmented essence of the human soul. I wanted to express inner complexity, with raw forms and rich textures that invite deep introspection. This piece will bring an intense and mysterious energy to your space, oscillating between chaos and poetry, an invitation to explore your own emotions.

Bastine uses acrylic, oil, collage, and encaustic, drawing on a background in which creative instinct took precedence over her previous professional life. She wields art brut in a bold blend of contemporary techniques and vintage papers, with spontaneous gestures and an omnipresent poetry. Her works, populated by singular creatures, express the raw force of intimacy, the fascination for the strange, and a vibrant assertion, inviting the viewer to explore the human soul and its shadowy areas.
