About this artwork
This work from the Within Frame series unfolds a calm, profound presence in graduated shades of blue and petrol. Constructed in multi-layered, finely glazed surfaces, it creates a soft, almost meditative depth that draws the gaze inward.
The color gradients are deliberately reduced and concentrated – darker zones are denser in the upper area, while a subtly luminous, more open surface spreads below. This creates a balanced tension between heaviness… and lightness, tranquility and inner movement.
Within the clear frame, color becomes a still space that unfolds slowly. A contemporary statement, ideal for minimalist, architecturally inspired interiors with a focus on atmosphere and materiality.

Born in Poland and raised in Germany, my artistic journey has been characterized by curiosity, movement, and cultural diversity. Five years in America broadened my perspective on the world in a lasting way – impressions that continue to influence my work today.
In my studio near Osnabrück, I translate emotions, encounters, and memories into abstract paintings. I work with acrylics and oils, layering, reducing, and allowing an open dialogue to emerge between the artwork and the viewer.
My art is an invitation to pause, feel and discover – because what begins on the canvas is allowed to live on in the viewer.
