About this artwork
Within Frame – Frame V explores the tension between boundary and inner space. A clear, darker frame encloses a bright, calm color field within, creating the impression of a pictorial space within the image.
The layers of paint are applied in a glazing technique, revealing visible traces of the painting process and creating a vibrant, breathing surface. While the edges create depth and focus, the bright center appears open and luminous.
This creates… a balance between density and expansiveness, between a defined frame and inner space. The work explores perception, space, and the effect of color within a clear boundary.
The artwork is framed in a vintage-style white wooden frame. The fine nicks and irregularities in the wood are intentionally part of the frame and emphasize the material, handcrafted character of the work – they are not damage, but rather part of the design.

Born in Poland and raised in Germany, my artistic journey has been characterized by curiosity, movement, and cultural diversity. Five years in America broadened my perspective on the world in a lasting way – impressions that continue to influence my work today.
In my studio near Osnabrück, I translate emotions, encounters, and memories into abstract paintings. I work with acrylics and oils, layering, reducing, and allowing an open dialogue to emerge between the artwork and the viewer.
My art is an invitation to pause, feel and discover – because what begins on the canvas is allowed to live on in the viewer.
