This work stems from an intuitive exploration of the sea as a space of freedom, movement, and contemplation. The painted surface unfolds through an intense dialogue between cobalt blue, turquoise, azure, and deep marine hues, creating an almost immersive sense of spaciousness.
The sky and sea seem to merge along the horizon, while fluid, textured brushstrokes suggest the incessant movement of water, currents, and clouds. Light emerges from within… the composition, traversing the different shades of blue and creating points of openness and luminosity.
The work is not intended to represent a specific place, but to evoke a feeling of immersion in the timeless landscape.
