At first sight this piece looks like an invitation to breathe in the joyful chaos of summertime leisure. The colours remind us of the nostalgic era of the paper postcards we used to send to family and friends.
But, looking further we see that the sea is almost empty of swimmers and people are mostly serious instead of joyful. This photograph was taken during the past heat wave in Spain and we were all astonished. It is about the new climate situation… we have to face and adapt.
