Becky Fixter is an award-winning Canadian painter whose work is inspired by the powerful lines, forms, palettes and textures found in nature. Ideas for compositions arrive as she communes, honors and observes nature’s beauty. Fixter works in large scale acrylic abstractions, driven by intuitive and spontaneous mark-making. Through fluidity, gestural force and emotive thrusts, she incorporates her vision onto canvas.
