About this artwork
With my work I sought to convey a nostalgic and vibrant visual narrative where naïve art, pop art, vintage style and a touch of expressionism come together. I used digital media to create a rich texture and bold color palette that capture the essence of a golden age, evoking childish yet sophisticated emotions that spark the imagination and bring a unique energy to any home.

Begoña Lafuente is a painter and illustrator based in the Netherlands whose works have been widely exhibited internationally, as well as in Spain. For her, art is a timeless conversation where not everything is said and "the essential is diluted." Lafuente describes her works as a game of combinations that combines materials, textures and colors, improvising new routes for the senses. In addition, she integrates movement and contrast in her compositions to cultivate visual and emotional tension.
