Retrato infantil con un toque urbano. Es un retrato de grandes trazos donde puede verse todo el movimiento gestual que acompaña mi cuerpo en cada pincelada sobre el lienzo. Disfruto mucho de esta forma de pintar porque me permite ser muy expresiva.

Begoña Lafuente is a painter and illustrator based in the Netherlands whose works have been widely exhibited internationally, as well as in Spain. For her, art is a timeless conversation where not everything is said and "the essential is diluted." Lafuente describes her works as a game of combinations that combines materials, textures and colors, improvising new routes for the senses. In addition, she integrates movement and contrast in her compositions to cultivate visual and emotional tension.
