About this artwork
With my work, I sought to link the vibrant cultures of America on a digital canvas. I was inspired by pop art, vintage, expressionism and naive art to capture the eclectic essence of its towns. The bright color palette and nostalgic graphic elements invite an emotional and visual journey, filling the space with energy and warmth. It is a tribute to diversity and shared history.

Begoña Lafuente is a painter and illustrator based in the Netherlands whose works have been widely exhibited internationally, as well as in Spain. For her, art is a timeless conversation where not everything is said and "the essential is diluted." Lafuente describes her works as a game of combinations that combines materials, textures and colors, improvising new routes for the senses. In addition, she integrates movement and contrast in her compositions to cultivate visual and emotional tension.
