About this artwork

In this painting, I depict three riders crossing a vast desert, moving with purpose through silence and light.

They are not defined by identity or time, but by what they carry. They are messengers—figures of calm strength in a world often shaped by noise and conflict.

The desert becomes a space of clarity, where everything unnecessary disappears and only meaning remains. The light above them symbolizes inner guidance rather than direction imposed… from outside.

I was drawn to the idea that peace is not passive; it is something carried, protected, and delivered with intention.

The original artwork has been sold. This piece is available as a limited edition, museum-quality giclée print on fine art canvas, each hand-signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Bekir Salim is a Turkish artist born in Erzurum in 1964. He began his artistic journey at an early age, growing up with painting, music, and poetry. After serving as an Infantry Lieutenant in the Turkish Army for 12 years, he retired to fully dedicate himself to art.

Salim has received multiple national awards in painting and poetry and has served as a judge in prestigious cultural events, including international music competitions.

He has created over 500 murals across Turkey, the United States, Europe, and Dubai. In 2014, he contributed to the Turkish Parliament with large-scale works, including a panoramic composition.

Currently, Salim is working on major artistic projects, including a portrait series of influential historical figures and a conceptual museum project focused on history, science, and culture.
