About this artwork
Whatever the landscape that is reflected in the water, it is found fragmented, transformed, deformed, it becomes rounded by the undulating movements of this water! it inexorably makes one think of a stained glass window where even the colors are attenuated to reveal a slight opacity, a semi transparency, it is this stained glass technique given by the painting and wanted by the artist that emerges from this painting

Beline Loeb
France
« I like to be allowed to dream. I like to be encouraged to create more and more...I like the unusual. »
Beline Loeb is a French artist who has exhibited her paintings nationally and in Italy. She sites water as being her pictorial obsession and how her experiences in the city of Venice were vital for her work on reflections. Béline work focus is not only directed to the surface, she describes it as a "gaze of depth", wherein, rhythm, movement, inversions, anamorphoses, shadows, and lights are translated. Her abstract compositions are created using acrylics and collage on paper or wood.
