About this artwork
In my work, which is part of the "La Bella Season" series, a harmony of colors flows like a serene spring sunset.
The work, born from the fusion of stearin, encaustic pigments and shellac spread on a thin cement base, was created on a wooden panel recovered from a packing case and consequently has imperfections, some of which are shown in the photo. However, they give the work an unprecedented expressiveness.
I recommend purchasing the work already… framed to enhance it more, but given the depth of the support the work could already be ready to be fixed to the wall: in this case an acrylic paint would be applied to the edges and two holes with two hooks made on the back safety to make it adhere perfectly to the wall (photos are available).
