About this artwork
This artwork represents the expression of dynamism through abstraction. I used acrylic to give life to bold shapes and enterprising gestures, letting the canvas be the stage for an exciting dance between emptiness and fullness. Strong color contrasts, such as deep black and lively yellow, invite reflections on the contrasting energies that coexist in the universe and in the human soul. With this painting, I hope to convey a sense of freedom and inspirational…
strength to the domestic environment.

« The sign is time that becomes space and painting is not only beautiful or pleasant, it helps you to be alone, to face yourself. »
Benedetta Del Coco is an Italian artist whose paintings have been featured in numerous solos and group exhibitions nationally. Her artistic practice is informed by the sign, the gesture, as well as the interaction between the sign and space through chromatic juxtapositions. Her distinctive and varied abstract impressionist compositions are created using oils, tar, pastels, acrylics on canvas.
