About this artwork
In my work, I allowed the vibrant colors to flow freely, creating a fiery and visceral dialogue between the warm hues and the deep purple background. Abstract yellow and red come together in a passionate embrace, evoking a sense of movement and energy that can enliven and inspire any space. It is a tribute to the strength of pure emotions, captured in a moment of expressive audacity.

« The sign is time that becomes space and painting is not only beautiful or pleasant, it helps you to be alone, to face yourself. »
Benedetta Del Coco is an Italian artist whose paintings have been featured in numerous solos and group exhibitions nationally. Her artistic practice is informed by the sign, the gesture, as well as the interaction between the sign and space through chromatic juxtapositions. Her distinctive and varied abstract impressionist compositions are created using oils, tar, pastels, acrylics on canvas.
