This work on paper explores the characteristics of cadmium red. Its title suggests a mental phenomena that occur during this “threshold consciousness” phase include lucid thought, lucid dreaming, hallucinations, and sleep paralysis.
Made using Gamblin Cadmium Red oil colors. Gamblin uses top quality pigments from around the world and this paint has an excellent lightfastness rating. It is painted on Arches archival oil paper. The paper is acid free,… cold pressed, made from 100% cotton, and treated with a powerful oil barrier.
