About this artwork
I created this sculpture when I was on vacation with a friend who was doing gymnastics at the beach.
Like many of my creations are the postures of the people he meets.
Turning towards the human, I transcribe my curiosity about the other.
My sculptures mark my observation of reality, the gestures of which can be accentuated in both a figurative and abstract manner.

Bernard Lambot
France
Bernard Lambot, Belgian sculptor, uses terracotta and bronze, capturing human posture. His sculptures, shaped by the observation of passers-by, combine realism and abstraction. Through his works, Lambot questions the infinite potential of humans, in the face of the impossible.
