Bei To the sky verliert die Form zu Gunsten der Phantasie, bekommt das Streben nach immer MEHR eine ästhetische Komponente. Die Materialien, die bei dieser Arbeit zum Einsatz gekommen sind, finden sich auch beim Bauvon Wolkenkratzern wieder. Dabei erzeugt die Gegenüberstellung von Lehm zu Beton eine extreme Spannung. Das entstehende Krakelee des Lehms, dass scheinbar vom Beton eingegrenzt… wird und in einer Wolke aus Glaspartikel und Gold endet, scheint beides zu sein…das Huhn und das Ei.
