About this artwork
The Cagire is the mountaintop ( two) that I see from my studio. I use them as an inspiration. I made about 33 paintings in the same size, with the same motive.
That is the “meeting” of the two colours. Each time 3 paintings in the same colour. The process is simple. Paint it without any dillution or medium, paint it with a knive. Be as direct and expressive as possible. Where the white meets the red, is having all possible confrontation in itself.
