This piece is part of a new series of works where Beth is not only working on a much larger scale on canvas but also exploring new colour hues . The freedom of this scale is really expressed in the gesture of movement and form . This piece was the first in this series hence the darker half palette

Beth Patridge is a promising British artist whose first discovery of art came at age 3, when she took her mother's red lipstick and used it to draw all over the walls of a friend's house. Formerly a classically-trained dancer, and now a therapist, she draws on her life experiences to compose works that explore the ambiguity of landscape – both macro and micro – via expansive landscapes and cellular worlds.
