About this artwork
In my collage I combine opposites into an amazing symbiosis. The surreal creates a dialogue between reality and the dream world. I play with textures and shapes to encourage the viewer to think deeper about the ordinary and the fantastic. This work brings an extraordinary energy into every room, an invitation to wonder and question our everyday perceptions.

Bettina Costa is an Argentinian artist based in Switzerland whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Spain, Italy, Hungary, and France. Her distinctive painterly compositions and collages fuse minimalism with abstraction. Through her "TANGOLLAGE" series, Costa translates her longing for her homeland. In her artistic process, she most often employs recycled materials with acrylics on cardboard.
