About this artwork
Contemporary textile art. Unique piece. In an intuitive gesture, this piece is an assembly made from recycled materials. In its symbolic and spiritual dimension found in many cultures, the Blue Bird is associated with the joy and happiness it spreads. It invites us to open up to our spiritual dimension, to the beauty of nature and to free ourselves from our chains.

« Away from the hustle and bustle, another world, another reality, and the essence of a dialogue with the living. »
Bettina Eberhaerd is a self-taught visual artist, applying herself to drawing and painting before using photography and computer graphics. His images do not connect us to world news in its sensational, violent or eventful aspects. Away from such agitations, another world, another reality, the essence of a dialogue with the living. Subtlety, assumed banality of the subject, refined images... result of a plastic work put in place during the shooting, continued in the subsequent phases, which progressively sets aside references, discourse, installs a specific world in itself which is renewed from time to time. series in series. By manipulating, confronting materials, based on “falls”, “failures”, “forgotten”. The process becomes a game between my control and an open and permissive attitude towards the technique that the tool offers. Plastic approach without gratuity, demanding, reflection of a life path.
