About this artwork
Reed Confusion - an abstract landscape is sketched in a dynamic style. Blue, lavender and earth-colored elements in the picture are reminiscent of summer, of its power, of water, reeds and landscape.
The darker, strong brushstrokes stand in contrast to this and create a field of tension.
Intense shades of turquoise begin to shimmer and fly. This work, which seems to dance beyond the edge of the picture, is presented in keeping with the motto "keep… moving".
The painting is signed on the back and ready to hang.
« Among other things, I want to depict traces of yesterday and the day before yesterday on the canvas, without a specific reference or rating. »
Birgit Fechner is an exciting German painter who has exhibited her work throughout Europe. Inspired by the contrast between Munich and Berlin, nature and roughness, she places opposing emotions alongside each other in vibrant, rhythmic abstract works. Her recurring motifs include flowers, cities and life and death, each infusing each painting with meaning behind the aesthetic.
