About this artwork
The image of men in my country today has completely changed. The social form has forced the man into a new role. The genders are becoming closer, but pure masculinity is somewhat lost. Men have become more vulnerable and sensitive. The artist painted this work to show the situation of young men in particular. A modern young man who is trying to find his position and his footing in today's society.
In my painting I use oil, varnish and pigments to… create a figurative and realistic representation. The composition is emotionally charged, a visual display of human emotional states captured in an intimate moment and surrounded by symbolic elements that invite interpretation.
