Birgit Ramsauer is a prize-winning painter, photographer, and draftsman who has exhibited her works in Russia, the United States, Sweden, France, and in her native Germany. Fascinated by her social environment, as well as history and architecture, she does extensive research on a topic before beginning the artistic process. Ramsauer also integrates humor into her compositions, as she believes that laughter, participation, her own experiences should be freely addressed in her art, to "find each other again."
