Between Two Selves reflects the tension of a figure suspended between two inner identities. One face emerges with clarity, while the other dissolves into shadow—neither fully dominant, neither fully absent. The image is constructed entirely through vertical lines, which act as both boundary and bridge, separating and connecting two states of being at once.
This work speaks to the quiet conflict between who we appear to… be and the self that remains unseen. From a distance, the full form becomes clear; up close, it dissolves into abstraction and rhythm. The shifting perception invites the viewer to pause, stand before the work, and explore the layered and evolving nature of identity itself.
