The entire image is constructed exclusively through vertical lines, which shape the form, rhythm, and perception of the figure.
The white of the canvas conveys restraint, while the black vertical lines carry a quiet intensity. Movement enters the composition through the wind in the figure’s hair, introducing flow without… disturbing her composed presence. Although the figure is uncovered, she is never exposed—vulnerability here becomes dignity rather than display.
From a distance, the figure appears resolved and calm; up close, it dissolves into abstraction, texture, and vertical structure. The work reflects a balance between control and release, power and softness, stillness and motion.
