Bixhope translates his passion for automobiles and the cinema into his hyper-realistic works, which also combine hints of Pop Art and Surrealism. Each of Bixhope’s compositions are entitled after one of his favorite films and include the character ‘Bull the Dog’, a multi-colored English bulldog who loves cars and is highly opinionated. The artist’s goal is to bring humor, color, and a bit of ‘madness’ to his vibrant pieces, while not taking himself too seriously.
