This work was created in Tuscany. As the mild night began, I wandered the streets of this beautiful hilltop village in Tuscany. This combination of the warmth of the light and the old walls develops a depth that literally draws the viewer into the picture. On the one hand, my artistic work includes landscape photography, with which I began my journey into light painting. This was at the tender age of 10, still using analogue technology. The fundamentals of composition and the technical aspects slowly became second nature to me. Fortunately, analogue photography introduced me to the "slow-looking element," which involves taking a photograph and pressing the shutter button only after careful consideration. The thoughtful creation of a perspective, not least for cost reasons, but also exposure metering.
With the advent of digital photography, many other technical aspects emerged, such as panoramic photography. Then Photoshop, Lightroom, and other tools came along. This was a quantum leap.
