Björn York is an award-winning painter, printmaker, and sculptor based in Austria whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Germany, the United States, and the Netherlands. His figurative works reflect impressions of everyday life, fusing them in a collage of different techniques. However, York's 'Stroke' series is meditative and explores the effects and transformations of color. His painterly compositions are most often created with oils on canvas or wood.
